Specialist home care throughout England

Long-Term Ventilation

Compassionate, specialist support for adults who require long-term ventilation, respiratory care or complex breathing support — delivered safely in the comfort of their own home.

What is Long-Term Ventilation?

Long-term ventilation is breathing support used by people who need support with their breathing over an extended period of time. This may include non-invasive ventilation through a mask or invasive ventilation through a tracheostomy.

Some adults may need ventilation support because of neurological conditions, spinal injury, brain injury, respiratory disease, neuromuscular conditions or complex health needs. Support may be needed during the night, during the day, or as part of a 24-hour care package.

At Great Life Care, we provide calm, respectful and personalised home care for adults who need long-term ventilation support. Our focus is safety, comfort, dignity and quality of life at home.
